At 1908 Grand, we know that selecting the right setting for your big day is a big decision. With our beautiful outdoor courtyard and our two elegant indoor spaces, you might be wondering which setting is best for your ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, dancing, etc. In this post, we'll help you navigate the decision-making process by highlighting the unique features of each option, ensuring your wedding at 1908 Grand is everything you've dreamed of.
The spaces
Outdoor Courtyard: Our outdoor courtyard can seat 200 people. The grand gate touched with elegant gold finishes provides a beautiful entry way into the charming space. With stone floors and a surrounding white fence, the courtyard is adorned with overhead market lights to illuminate the space at night with soft, warm lighting. Gorgeous greenery including crape myrtle and jasmine vines decorate the fence. Trees provide natural shade overhead. If your wedding is October-March, this is the sweet spot for outdoor ceremonies or receptions in Florida!

Downstairs room: This room can seat 80 people (120 max for a ceremony setup). Upon entering through the large and original double wood doors, you are greeted by a spacious room filled with natural light from the large windows, which offer beautiful courtyard views. A standout feature is the intricately carved wood and granite bar, which is portable for flexible arrangements. The room also includes two TVs, ideal for displaying sentimental PowerPoints or videos. The 13 foot ceiling is adorned with gorgeous, elaborate molding and hangs 8 gold vintage chandeliers.

Upstairs ballroom: This room can seat 180 people. This room of the 1908 Grand is a magnificent space designed to impress. Ascend the grand staircase to enter a room with elegant wooden floors and a striking backlit marble bar. The ballroom boasts 20-foot ceilings adorned with six glimmering gold chandeliers. The stage at the front of the room is perfect for a sweetheart table or altar, making it ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Arched windows line the walls, giving the room plenty of natural light. As the sun sets, these windows allow gorgeous golden sunlight to fill the space, creating a romantic atmosphere.

Of course, there are several other combinations that you may choose to go with. You can find what past couple’s have done for their wedding on our inspo page. If your ceremony is offsite, inviting everyone to enjoy a beautiful cocktail hour in our courtyard when they arrive is a nice option. If you have a smaller guest count, we’ve had ceremonies in our downstairs room that have made for some of the sweetest, more intimate ceremonies. For a larger guest count, inviting your guests downstairs for dancing after dinner in the ballroom or vice versa (dancing in the ballroom after a courtyard dinner) is our suggestion.
